FROM THE CLASSROOM TO YOUR KITCHEN TABLE
You don’t need to remember every lesson.
You need a clear place to start.
Gather classroom updates and schoolwork in one place. Keep the original material close by.
IN THE PRIVATE PILOTAI helps turn classroom updates into suggested topics, dates, and reminders. You review them to shape a clear picture of your child’s week.
IN THE PRIVATE PILOTWe’re building on-demand, AI-generated Parent Guides around your child’s schoolwork and the help you need right now.
WHAT WE’RE BUILDING TOWARDSee a guide examplePARENT GUIDES · WHAT WE’RE BUILDING
A worksheet tells you what’s assigned. Sometimes you need a little help finding the words to explain it.
Our goal is to use AI to create a guide when you need it, drawing on your child’s classroom material and what you tell us they’re finding tricky. A simple explanation. A useful question. A small way to practice together.
“They can tell me what happened. How do I help them explain why the author wrote it?”
OUR VISION · PERSONAL SUPPORT OVER TIME
One family is working through fractions. Another is finding a way into multiplication. The support should reflect the child in front of you.
We envision PencilAide building on the schoolwork, challenges, and feedback your family shares, so each visit starts with useful context.
What was confusing. Which explanation helped. What to try next. Guidance and suggested next steps could evolve with your child, with you able to review and correct what PencilAide remembers.
BUILT FROM A FAMILIAR MOMENT
Of course you want to help. It’s been a while since you learned it yourself, and you want to explain it in a way that makes sense to your child.
That’s where PencilAide begins. We’re building it around the school week in our own family, with a simple aim: help parents become more confident learning partners.
The best part still happens between you and your child.
YOU KNOW YOUR CHILD. YOU STAY INVOLVED.
Classroom material remains the reference, so you can check the context.
AI suggestions can miss things. Review and correction are part of the process.
The aim is to help you guide the learning and make room for your child to think.
GROWING ONE SCHOOL WEEK AT A TIME
PencilAide is in a private household pilot. We’re working through real school weeks, learning what helps, and building from there.
Access to the app isn’t open yet. On-demand AI Parent Guides, short practice, and ongoing personalization are part of the experience we’re building toward.
We also plan to add interactive AI chat to help you understand what a schoolwork question is asking and find a clear way to explain it to your child. Ask for more detail, follow up with questions of your own, and get feedback in real time as you learn together.
